Duration: 6 Days

Overview

Yin Yoga is a meditative and grounding type of yoga, stretching the deep tissues and encouraging mindfulness and inner stillness. Based on the Taoist philosophy of Yin and Yang, opposite and complementary forces, Yin is a slow, deep, and reflective method that exercises passive floor postures, held for a long time. These floor postures are held for 4 to 6 minutes, and they go deep into the connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments, which are considered the greatest barrier to flexibility.

Using asanas, pranayama, and meditative stillness, Yin Yoga helps practitioners release physical tension, emotional release, and healing, thereby connecting deeper with the self. Unlike dynamic yang styles, Yin Yoga offers a unique doorway into calm, healing, and energy restoration.

Our Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh combines traditional wisdom and modern anatomy, resulting in a safe and effective way to teach. Are you a beginner developing your own practice, or are you an established teacher wishing to add to your offerings?

This course will arm you with the principles, knowledge, and skills that enable you to guide others in this very healing art. Situated within peaceful surroundings, Nirvana School of Yoga is a desired Yin Yoga teacher training center in India, given that it is Yoga Alliance certified and well-structured curriculum for overall growth.

You will be served clean vegetarian food, which is light and delicious, prepared with love to sustain your energy, sharpness, and calm during the training.

Meals are prepared with the intention to strengthen your practice; all the ingredients are wholesome: whole grains, lentils, vegetables, fresh fruits, and healing spices are common.

We avoid overly processed or heavy foods to maintain a sattvic diet, which is considered pure and calming, that helps promote a clear mind and inner stillness.
